Robin holds a medical degree from Uppsala University, Sweden, and is currently completing his PhD in Medical Image Analysis under the supervision of Prof. Håkan Ahlström. During his PhD he has focused on image-based omics-data integration using high performance computing clusters. Before transitioning to a more technical field, Robin conducted research in the field of Neuroscience, studying the role of a subset of interneurons in local neuronal networks in the hippocampus and neocortex.

In parallel with his MD/PhD studies, Robin has also consulted and been involved in multiple MedTech/Pharma start-ups. Robin has a significant breadth of knowledge covering medicine, software engineering with a particular focus on data science and deep learning, business development and public/private market investing.
